Framed Print  -  Sarah Bernhardt - Mucha Alphonse

Large Art Nouveau style frame in a rustic black finish with a striking print in earthy green and brown tones.  This artwork was used as a poster for a production in 1896.  It depicts Bernhardt in a dark tunic and cape holding a book and dagger, framed by a green dragon representing the tyrant Alessandro menacing the Florentine coat of arms.

 In very good condition may have minor imperfections or marks on the frame. It's an ideal addition to any interior seeking vintage charm and timeless appeal with an interesting story behind it.
